Flight of the Conchords Biography
Flight of the Conchords is a comedy duo, Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, from New Zealand. Originally the stars of their own BBC radio show, Flight of the Conchords starred in their own American television show that began in 2007 on HBO.
The pair originally met in 1998 at Victoria University where they were both studying film. They became roommates and formed Flight of the Conchords in response to Jemaine's desire to give up on his film career.
After a successful run on the BBC, starting in 2004, the pair launched their career stateside with the HBO show. Season 1 was a critical success and the second season of the show should begin airing sometime in early 2009.
